Apart from enjoying your holiday and having fun, our main recommendation is to get out and about and explore this beautiful island. Also, try a few of the eateries available around our apartment before settling on your favourites. This way you get to meet some of the local characters as well as sampling the great variety of delicious dishes available to you.
Use cash instead of credit cards when buying expensive items. As our friends in Paphos tell us, "Everyone in Cyprus pays in cash . . . even God!!"
Eating out, drinking, car hire, day trips, golf and watersports. Some if not all of these activities will probably be of interest to you during your holiday. We have selected our "best of the rest" from the huge variety on offer around our apartment.

There
are literally dozens of car hire companies in and around Paphos.
Whoever you choose to hire from please ensure the vehicles/motorbikes are registered with "red Z" number plates. This is a legal requirement for tourists.

There are many more establishments on the busy "Tombs of the Kings" Road for you to choose from, depending on your taste. If you want to go all action, in your face entertainment head for "Agiou Antoniou" or the "Nightlife Street" as it's more commonly known. A 20 minute stroll or five minutes in a taxi takes you to the action which goes on until 3-4am.
Mini
golf, go carts, water sports, diving, golf and day trips are readily
available. The "Secret
Valley" tournament golf course is 3km from our apartment, just
past "Aphrodites Rock" and is rated highly among European
courses. Prices are very reasonable and non-members are welcome.
A handicap of 28(men's), 36 (ladies) is required and club rental
is
available.
You will find a folder in the apartment containing information on trips and holiday activities in and around Paphos. Independent travel companies organising tours all over Cyprus are located at the front of the apartment. The beautiful Troodos Mountains are worth a visit during your trip.
